Peggy Sloan

Peggy was born and raised in the small farming community of Walton, Ontario in beautiful Huron County. Peggy is very grateful to her parents for all their hard work, love, and dedication that they provided for her and her siblings. A teacher at heart, Peggy has obtained an Early Childhood Education diploma from Lambton College and a degree in Child Studies BA, B.Ed. from Brock University. Peggy returned home to marry her high school sweetheart and ever since they have been on an incredibly beautiful journey together, working through difficult times and celebrating the many good.

Since Peggy was young, she has always been interested in taking photographs. For her, there has always been something magical about capturing a moment in time, showing appreciation for every moment we breathe. She has taken what she has learned about photography and combined it with her own innate awareness and beauty of nature to produce the photographs that she loves. As she continues to aspire in her photography, she enjoys experimenting with shutter speed, aperture and exploring diverse landscapes and subjects. It always amazes and mystifies Peggy that the same landscape can transform at any given moment with angles, special lighting, weather affects, and her own perspective and emotions. Peggy's photography truly allows her to express the energy she personally feels in connection with nature’s beauty.

After teaching for over 21 years, overcoming and experiencing life lessons, Peggy is more than pleased to be able to share her photography with others, in the hope that they also experience inner tranquility through the eyes of her lens.
